Replying to @Natalia V a six pack wont make you happy. “People who have ripped six-packs all year aren’t happy”. Well, I personally don’t agree with that. I have a six-pack and I am currently the happiest I have ever been. But, I feel so strongly about this topic, it is the very first citation in my book. Literally number 1 in 60 pages of research paper citations. *Having a six pack is not a guaranteed path to happiness.* Many people chase it because they think it will make them happier (and it can, sometimes) but it is also totally possible to have the most incredible six-pack in the world and still be miserable. For example, people who find themselves engaging in disordered eating habits to maintain a level of body fat that is unhealthily low or bodybuilders who often have worse body image than regular people, despite being leaner and more muscular. I believe that there are often certain weight ranges where people tend to sit comfortably, but if they diet below that it can come with a health and happiness sacrifice. After all, bodybuilders, boxers and martial artists don’t maintain their leanest condition year-round, right? They often do it temporarily to look a certain way or hit a certain weight bracket and then regain back to a healthier level. I have NEVER been someone who tries to deter anyone from what they want to do. But, I harp on about this message repeatedly because I see too many people accidentally sacrificing their health and happiness to look a certain way. So, if you are chasing a goal, just make sure it is the right goal for you. That’s all. P.S. my best-selling book, ‘Everything Fat Loss’ is currently on sale as a brand-new audiobook, plus digital/print versions from Barnes and Noble, Apple, Kobo, Google, and Amazon with an extra 32% off in Canada and 10% in the USA. Feel free to grab it before the price goes up (Iink in profile). #sixpack #sixpackabs #abs #shredded #ripped #fatloss #weightloss #UFC #Fitness #FitTok #GymTok #gym #calorie #calories #caloriedeficit #exercise #nutrition #personaltrainer #foryou #fyp #fypシ
