Thats awesome! You can also use lemon essential oil on a qtip, it pops the rubber band almost immediately.

Thats really cool! Touching the top of a lemon oil bottle pops hair ties instantly too. And their hair smells nice.

I use suture cutters, they have a hook to gonunder the band and a scissor part to cut... but this would have been great to use
