Alberta has too many wild horses! I work in the back country for hunting outfits and the number of horses we see is crazy. They need to be managed!

Feral as in their ancestors are the descendants of horses brought here by European settlers. As such they may have not so good effects on ecosystems.

If those are the ones down the 2-lakes rd they were owned by a hunting guide that abandoned them in the 80’s

In my videos there is two wild Alberta stallions fighting over a herd of mates on Stud road near sundrea. It’s amazing howntough they are.

Well they are literally feral 🥰 not wild. Feral means they were formerly domesticated horses.
