they aren't that rare actually. my Doberman had 3 litters and had all colors. red black fawn and blue. a good 3/4 of fawn and blue in each litter

ear cropping and tail docking without an indication is a cosmetic procedure. so it isn't health based. I'm a vet so I know.

Let’s no spread misinformation. Fawn, or blues or that matter, are not rare. Just a recessive coat type. Most breeders try to avoid breeding it.
