I always put two fingers upright on the nose bone. The horse needs to be able to chew and move its jaw without any restrictions 🥰

I always teach kids it should be snug so it can’t catch on something but you should be able to slide fingers in. Like a dog collar.

Was told by a bridle fitter that while yes you are supposed to have at least 2 fingers in beteen, too loose doesn’t give any stability for the horse
