My dad did this. Had stage 4 cancer. Bedridden. One day he sat up, walked downstairs and was totally normal. He died that night. Blew my mind.

My dad did that. The good thing is that this "rally" is what I remember most about his last days, not his sickness. Maybe that's the point.

My great grandpa begged for a beer. The nurses didn’t give in. So I snuck a beer in to him because I knew he didn’t have long anyway. 🤘🏼
