B and a mixing valve installed at the tank and set at 118 is best in my opinion. These new tanks stink at low temps then it needs a clean out

Our knob is hard to see, cramped by the washer. My husband saw hot and was moving it & water was getting cooler. Then we saw very hot 😳 oh gotcha.

140 is the recommended temperature. If you want a colder delivery install a mixing valve.
