Eid recipe Lamb mandi Ingredients: * 1 glass rice (soaked for 3 hours) * ½ kg fatty lamb * ¼ cup oil * 1 onion * 3 cinnamon sticks * 2 bay leaves * 4–5 cloves * 2 black cardamoms * ⁠ 1 tbsp black pepper * 1 tbsp cumin * 1 tbsp garam masala * 1 tbsp dry crushed coriander * 1 tbsp pulao masala * 1 tbsp salt * ⁠3 glasses warm water * Pinch of yellow food colour Method of Preparation: 1. Soak rice for 3 hours. 2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker and sauté onion until light golden. 3. Add lamb, whole spices, ground spices, and warm water. Pressure cook for 15–18 minutes. 4. Remove extra oil, mix with pulao masala and food colour, then brush over meat. 5. Add rice when dries water then drizzle food colour over rice. 6. Cover and cook on low flame for 8–12 minutes. 7.
