Would you call this a taco? A burger? or some sort of hybrid name I haven figured out yet? Drop your name suggestions below! INGREDIENTS 4 flour tortillas 8 slices of white American cheese 1 pound of ground beef separated into 4 balls 4 green chilis (preferably hatch chilis) 1/2 cup beef stock 1 tsp garlic and onion powder a pinch of salt and pepper FOR THE SAUCE 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup sour cream 1/4 cup chipotle in adobo Juice of a lime 1 tsp of garlic and onion powder Salt and pepper to taste Step 1 Lightly coat the chilis in oil and roast in the oven for 10 minutes at 450 degrees F. When they come out, add them to a ziploc bag and let cool and steam for 10 minutes. When they’re cool enough to touch, take off the skin and chop them. Step 2 Add the chopped chlis to a saucepan or pot with beef stock, garlic and onion powder and salt and pepper. Cook on low heat until there is no more liquid. Step 3 Add the ground beef to the tortilla and flatten it out. Place it on a hot skillet and press it down as hard as you can for 1 minute. Flip it over and add 2 slices of American cheese. Hit the pan with some water and cover it to let the cheese melt. After about a minute, uncover the pan and add the green chilis. FOR THE SAUCE Combine all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
