If you're snapping at your kids and losing it and yelling, here’s how I approach it. I would use the BratBusters Behaviour Board, and you put down no yelling for you. That's always your rule if you yell. If you yell, then your consequence is something nice for the kids. That is your consequence, that's your apology. Eventually you'll hopefully stop yelling, because once you know how to do all this stuff, you don't need to yell anymore. You only yell because you don't know what else to do. You only yell because they don't respect you. You only yell because you have earned their respect, you have to  work for it. Everyone blames their kids for not respecting them - I don’t understand that. A leader looks to themselves. You don't blame the kids, you look to yourself and ask what am I doing wrong? They're doing that for a reason, it's because I'm not a leader. Take the responsibility, they're just kids. We're not fixing kids, we're teaching parents here.
