I think healers are more relevant in traditional dungeon crawls were you dont always have the luxury of taking long rests or even short ones

The best healer is a wizard. Just use battlefield and crowd control spells to keep your party from taking damage in the first place.

healing: too true. I made a healer build, healed 250+hp in a single fight (lvl5), still felt like hitting/cc would have been more effective.
