Kbeauty Playground 🫰 I saw videos from the the Toronto stop of the Sukoshi Beauty Ground and when I saw that it was coming to NY, especially so close to my house, I had to add it to my list. My mom and I went first thing in the morning today, which I really enjoyed because I don’t get to go to many pop ups with her. There was no line whatsoever (we were practically the first ones there) when we went five minutes after it opened, but the weekend will definitely be another story. They do have a skip the line pass that you can pay for and get extra goodies with. We were able to get a nice tote bag which the first 500 people per day gets. There was nothing in the bag (which I knew), but it would’ve been nice if there was something more in there as well. We stopped by each booth and learned about the products. Almost all the booths had a little game to play to win prizes. The prizes differ as it depends on the game and luck. My mom and I did lose a couple of them, including Mixsoon which was soooo hard. We did get a consolation sample from Mixsoon though. My mom and I both got the ReDRN Exosome Ampoule from Dr. Nineteen after playing a cap flicking game. It was really easy to win since you only had to knock one down. I managed to get a pore softener mini kit from ilso after winning a dice game. OOTD had a spin the win where my mom and I both ended up getting the Dark Spot Vitamin C Serum Mask. They didn’t have most of the items on the wheel in stock so we had to substitute which I am grateful for but I do think it is ridiculous that they didn’t have everything when they literally just opened for the day. They were not the only ones either who were disorganized in that sense. House of Hur had a lucky draw gumball machine where I got two sunscreen sample packets (2nd prize) and my mom got a mini moist ampoule blusher (grand prize). They didn’t not have all the colors available so we could not get the color we originally wanted so we went with our second choice begrudgingly. My mom won a full size hair volume fixer from vodana through a color duck game, unfortunately I did not win anything. However, all prizes for this one were full size which we love to see! Pleuvoir had a gumball machine as well. I got a body cleanser sample while my mom got a perfume sample. Iunik had a plinko game where I got a Centella Relief Sorbet Cream sample but my mom did not get anything. We also made some purchases but chose not to hit the limit for the gwp. However, the gwp do look like they are worth it except for the $65 one. You can also get a 20% off discount at the store if you get at least 5 stamps from the booths.
