the amount of money you lose in depreciation is in most cases the cost of a lease, sometimes the lease works out cheaper. it's a no brainer

I lease because I like to change my car every 3/4 years and the cost is less than the depreciation on a car if I bought it and sold it

leasings good for a managed fleet. No use for one person and at the end of lease often get high charges for going over the mileage and slight knocks

My cars an 05 better than most new cars (not biased I have a 2014 aswell) and it's better than a lot of new vehicles, and I'm not losing money on it

Cars don't die in 10 years. If you can't afford a lease then buy a 5 yo car, sell at 8 yo, only lose £2k max in depreciation.

I like changing my car every 2-3 years, service it once a year and hand it back - lovely. Not affected by depreciation. Lease all the way!
