also from Alberta. closet I've ever had is when it snows too much for the busses to handle so there are MAYBE 3 students in every class

I live in Minnesota and we rarely got snow days unless it was so bad that the busses couldn't run, and even then it was usually just a late start

where I live, it got really cold one year (like down to -40) and so they increased how cold it has to be for it to be a snow day. THE BUSSES WERE OFF
