I woul go for the communications bunker. I mean silos are also filled with water that has to be drained can you imagine bacteria from that?

If you have the money to make the silo itself into kind of a underground tower deal it’d probably be cooler idk ab better tho

Of the two options a communication bunker seems ideal because missle silo locations are more readily available.

I’d be worried about toxic contamination inside missle silos. Oils, fuel and corrosion inhibitors weren’t really safe back then.

A communication bunker by far is the better choice in my opinion. They were built to be habitable for extended periods of time whereas silos weren’t.

“Nuclear proof” is such a silly term. If it gets hit directly, it’s done for. If not, a comms bunker does the same, but better (i.e. sustainability)
