Ramadan may be months away… but my prep starts NOW. 🏃‍♀️💨” Every Ramadan season feels like a marathon, intense, exhausting, and honestly one of the most rewarding times of my year. It takes a lot out of me and my amazing ladies, but we look forward to it 🙌🏻 The next couple of months are all about prep, because when Ramadan hits, it’s go-time. We have orders flying in from all across the UK (and even beyond!). To this day, I’m flabbergasted when I think of families around the world breaking their fast with our savouries. Alhamdulilah, truly humbling. So heres my to-do list… bismillah, let’s see how much I can actually do and make du’a for me! 😅 1. Build another shed/outbuilding – The demand grows every year, so do the giant pots and commercial gadgets… and I’m out of storage space (again). 2. Buy more freezers – Because somehow, there’s never enough freezer space. 3. Add more power points – More freezers mean more electricity. Maths. 4. Make sample boxes – So many people want to try smaller packs first; so it’s coming back again this year. 5. Look into branded packaging – Always levelling up where I can. 6. Experiment with individual lasagnes & shepherd’s pies – You’ve all been asking for them… watch this space. 7. Prep extra stock in advance – So we’re not completely sold out on day one of Ramadan like every other year. 8. Create new labelling with nutritional info – No idea where to even begin, but hey, it’s on the list! 🥲 Big dreams and a whole lot of to-dos. Let’s see how much gets done before Ramadan Inshallah! Now tell me..: what would you love to see on the Ramadan menu this year? 👀 (that’s another thing on the list, create a new savoury to add to the menu, but I’ve already got too much pressure… you guys can help me out here… what do you want to see.
