I think the problem is their media. Lol OMG really had no media till recently. So in a sense the dolls had no personality, they had no character.

well main reason is new dolls are coming out and if you look it up MGA has like 4 new tweens and omg series but they arnt releasing them monthly…

I think it's because the doll have a very specific aesthetic to them and it makes it hard to mix and match clothing with other dolls
