I havent had any damage. My hair is 70-80% dry I would say, heat protectant and I use it on low.

I've just started using one of these instead of hairdryer found I can go longer now without washing hair just use dry shampoo

I have had mine for awhile and love it. Let your hair air dry a bit, then use. I have used it on towel dried hair and it was totally fine and worked
