Sooo I decided to make the viral petai magnum! I have been sent this image sooo many times now 😆 it seems I’ve earned myself quite the reputation as someone who would make this 😅 At first I said “Petai Ice-Cream” there is NO WAY I’m trying that. But then I started to see that there are real ice-cream stalls selling Petai ice-cream flavour here in Malaysia and I started to question the idea. After some online research, I saw that this Malaysian guy was explaining that they tried a durian and petai flavoured icecream and they liked it!!  It actually reminded me that in southern Italy they make ice-cream with red onion, it’s called “cipolla” and I thought if the Italian’s can make ice cream with red onion and successfully sell it, then maybe a petai ice cream flavour is not so much of a crazy idea!
