Josh Anderson :
my opinion is it should be installed correctly by the company you paid. cant be too picky on something that will be lifting thousands of pounds 🤷🏼♂

Stephen Cox171 :
Iv been a mechanic for 16 years. Arms never met evenly on any lift I used(including my own 11k lift). I'd rather the bases be flat to the ground.

Is there an end result to this lift? I’m curious to know as I’m about to purchase my first lift for my shop

A vehicle lift should be installed leveled and plum. When its loaded and up that small difference will show.

They make a hammer drill bit called a rebareatter. Will go right through rebar. They was just lazy and cheep.

Twistedtech2 :
As a tech we know the lift needs to be secure to the ground and torque routinely checked...the clamping force on some of bolts will never be right.

user8185659755558 :
Too many shims, you should be able to adjust the majority of it out by adjusting the cables to equalize it

johnzdz :
I would put a car on it lrise it up a couple times let the cables seat & then check towers

Mark Lewis :

i work for garage equipment company and that would not be acceptable. we would get a plate made and new bolts installed. it would fail insurance

Troy Smith :
You’re insurance won’t cover you if it’s not installed properly! And it’s not installed to the manual specs.
