Haha tell me you aren’t form the north. There are cars up here with them. It’s not just diesels or trucks. I have a Ram 5.7 and Honda 2.2 with it.

if ya did not plug it in the night before when it was up to temp, as in these Temps the block heat is not enuff to warm the engine from cold to start

same with out semi trucks live on block heaters and pil pan hetaers all winter or they won't start or they stay running.

at -50 you'll rip your oil pump apart starting the truck with 15w40 in it in -50 its like glue dam near solid do needs to be heated to
