This is so true. Former Nicu Mom my son would fall asleep taking a bottle because eating is actually exhausting for them.

my baby was born at 34 weeks! he was in the NICU for 10 days. clap for a week and iv fluids, only a few days to get used to bottles!

I’m not 100% sure how multiples work but when my son and I were in nicu they said expect to stay till at least due date :)

On average, are preemies usually in the NICU until around the original due date? That would make sense. Obviously I know some can take more/less time.

my twins were 34+5 at birth, coded, qnd had to be ventilated for awhile. it took them 27 days to go home which I know doesn't compare to other

NICU doctors also try not to say so that you don’t get your hopes up too high. Our discharge date passed and we were still there for almost 2 weeks
