It looks like either a bone spur or bone splinter. Id get a second opinion asap. Because you dont want that coming theough the skin if it encounters..

rad tech here…it definitely doesn’t look like it’s broken…it looks like a bone spur…people have weird bone growths all the time…look up osteochondroma

Nurse here! Might be a bone spur with a soft tissue injury. I would get a second opinion at an er but please please keep your splint on. It helps!

I would go to an ER - (I’m an X-ray tech fyi) you might need to have it reduced- but depending on how bad the swelling is,

I would go to an ER. They should x-ray and then consult ortho surgeon or plastic surgeon(but I’m in Alberta)

I would go to the ER and have a radiologist read the X-ray. That’s their literal job and probably the best way to know for sure what’s going on

Algorithm worked. I did a 3 month hand rotation for occupational therapy. Heat is your friend before doing activities ice after. See a hand therapist!
