First. Cleaning seems straightforward but to a kid with 0 executive function it can be overwhelming and then everyone gets stressed.

We set a 10min timer and my kids clean up what they can in that time, then I finish the rest 😊 They love it

I wish my mother had done this with me. My executive function made it so difficult to clean my room, I was often threatened w/ the garbage bag method

we ask them to help with chores that they didn't make or to make it easier for us....so why not help them. it's fair
