I just use water, vinegar, and a drop of dawn dish soap. carpets come out so clean and no residue! vinegar acts as a natural disinfectant

do u run a clear water rinse? does the gain attract dirt after the cleaning if not rinsed. I bet it smelled amazing!

I do that and then mix the scent beads with super hot water and use that to rinse best smelling carpet ever

Don’t ever use soap on your carpet. All it does is cause residue build up, those crisp lines are soap

the best way to clean carpet is to get a sprayer, spray the carpet with solution and let it set 5 mins. then only use water in your machine to extract

Make sure to go over with hot water to get all the soap out or else it will be sticky.

I spray my carpet first with a sprayer then go over it with just hot water. Game changer.

This has nothing to do with the gain pod, the lines are from the machine. The gain pod is actually leaving soap residue that will collect more dirt

I use 1 cup vinegar and 1 tablespoon of liquid detergent. Cleanest and freshest smelling carpet with no residue

You need to rinse all the soap if not your carpet will end up stiff .

What happens? Well you put too much soap on your carpet causing it to collect and hold on to dirt so next time your water will be dirtier 🤦♀️
