also I've had automatic payments double charge and put me in negative at the bank....they refunded but it took several days and I had to scramble 1/2

some banks are shady and will process debits BEFORE midnight and process deposits (FROM THE SAME DAY) after midnight..forcing the account to overdraft

In Germany there are three set times for bills, 1st, 15th or 30st. Obviously accommodations for weekends/holidays but that's it

Overdraft fees and practices is why I use a debit card. They don’t overdraft and don’t charge any fees if there’s nothing on the card.
