Moisture is optimal for wound healing, draining is best for infection after a certain point. Dryness, almost never.

Moisture in an acne sense is horrible for it, p.bacteria that is the specific acne bac, breeds and thrives in moist environments

moisturizer is keeeeyyyy! worked for a plastic surgeon and we ALWAYS said keep it covered in aquaphor, never let it get dry and crusty
