I started eating 2 hard boiled eggs before my overnight oats (I add protein for mine) and haven't had Spikes. Thanks for all your advice.

I always teach to have with protein. To also have the recommended portion size. That way you can still enjoy these foods.

Newly diabetic, doc is having me work on diet not blood sugar. I bought a test kit but I’m not sure what numbers should be at 1 hr after eating? 2hr?

What are your thoughts on high fiber pastas such as chickpea or lentil pastas? Still high in carbs but lots of fiber

I like oat bran. It has more fiber than oatmeal. I do breakfast bowl with oat bran, chia, cooked spinach, over easy egg, spices. No spike. 👍🏻
