You only need 2 tbsp, though. I’d measure it to see what it looks like, then eyeball it going forward. The line is more of a “max fill” thing.

you should still follow the directions of the bottle. each are formulated differently. it's not based on the machine.

That line looks like it might allow for more than two tbsp, which is the max amount of detergent you need for an HE machine. Check out @Renae’s videos
