Ingredients: Chicken leg - 11 pieces Flour dredge - 500g plain flour 45g coarse black pepper 10g paprika 25g celery salt 10g garlic powder 10g onion powder 8g smoked paprika 8g white pepper 3 tbsp thyme 25g salt 25g MSG Chicken seasoning - 2/3 tsp salt 1/2 tsp thyme 1/3 tsp oregano 1 tsp celery salt 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp dried mustard 4 tsp paprika 2 tsp garlic salt 1 tsp ground ginger 3 tsp white pepper Method: 1️⃣ Use 2 tsp of the chicken seasoning and marinate the chicken for 2–3 hours (overnight if you have the patience) Keep the rest of the seasoning for another time. 2️⃣ Add all the dredge spices to the flour and mix well. 3️⃣ Coat the chicken in flour, dip into water (give it a little shake), let excess drip off, then back into the flour. Toss it around for 1–2 minutes so the coating builds up nicely. 4️⃣ Let the coated chicken rest for 10 minutes — this stops the crust falling off when frying. 5️⃣ Heat oil to 175°C, fry for 1–2 minutes, then lower to medium-low and cook for about 13 minutes until cooked through. (Use a thermometer to make it easy) Take it out… and try not to bite straight in straight away, you might get 3rd-degree burns (I PERSONALLY know someone suffering rn😭) #fyp #kfc #friedchicken
