The crate is far Far too small. The law in the UK is that they need to be able to move around and then and have food and water.

We fed my puppy and did everything in the kennel. Then they would associate the kennel with positivity.

If he gets frantic in a kennel, he can get his collar stuck on the wires. I uncollar my dogs in the kennel now.

Never leave a dog with a leash or collar inside the kennel. There have been incidences of dogs strangling themselves.

This is exactly what I do! & he always waits for a command to come out. Still cries the entire time he is in there though

Don’t leave the leash and collar on inside a cage unsupervised. My puppy strangled herself at 14 weeks (collar got stuck in cage) 😭
