ok so, most of u might know that i love to be inspired by beatiful strangers. also bc my school life wasnt rlly juicy and back when i was 16, i remember thinking that my life only truly started in the mrt back home? HAHAHA which is so hilarious to think about one fine night as i was heading home from my friend’s place at arnd 11pm (this was november 2020 btw, crazy??), i was alone in the train cabin until this mysterious guy sat opposite me.. just out of nowhere. and i just remember being so taken aback bc this person’s aura reminded me EXACTLY of Lucas (formally from NCT) and i was A HUGGEEE lucas fan. ok i could only see his eyes bc covid era but thats not the point, the point is that my heart was literally abt to fall out my heart socket cuz i was so star struck by this stranger pls 😭😭 mind u i was 16 and like the most hopeless hopeless romantic, so when he kept shooting glances u bet i looked back too and squealed so hard inside omfg Death. my inner fangirl could not take it. in the end we alighted at the same stop (fate or wtv) and idk if i was just being delulu, i swear he turned around to look at me like Once 🪦🪦 i guess if i cant meet my idols irl i will meet their lookalikes on the mrt and write a song abt them ❤️‍🔥 hence, i wrote this song “LUCAS” 🤭🤭 to kinda detail the events and express how i felt in that moment… it talks about how i regret not going up to him (I KNOW IT’LL BE CRAZY IF I DID😭😭) and about how i wanted to meet my idol again on the streets one fine day. i was fr delulu since day 1. and the most amazing part is that i came up with the melody in the shower that very night too ugh i love it when that happens and i was also super lucky to have met the right people who helped me produce this song !! so it’s actually my very first single and it just turned 2 years old 🥰🥰 it holds such a special place in my heart hehe 🫶 p.s. if u like the song, it’s ‘LUCAS’ by regina song (link in bio) & u can join me in my deluluship ❤️ thank u for reading my storytime hehe should i do more ~ #TunesOfSG #songwritingseason #soundsofsea #rnb #songbridges #nctlucas
