That’s how I do it too. 👍🏻 I usually cut the heads and use a solid beam. I can see how yours would work since it’s hollow. Good idea 👍🏻

I think I would have a hard time drilling level holes into the studs for the bolts.

have done this multiple times. ppl spend way too much on the brackets and such. only diff. is I cut the heads off and drill 1/2" hole. glad you shared
