They’re not good with high current applications the heat will melt the Solder and a shrink tubing I’ve had this happened to me

Incorrect usage. You're supposed to press the two ends together so the stands become interlocked and then solder in place.

Those are harder to use than just soldering the wires. I only use them for adding a ground wire to shielded pairs

I like these. But when working on audio connections, I prefer standard soldering and applying marine grade heat-shrink.

they don't have enough solder in them to make a good connection. just take your time and do it the old way, solder and heat shrink.

Soldered by hand and using shrink tube that has glue makes a better and even submersible connection.
