You can also use bar soap! I reset their shape when I’m cleaning my brushes, let them dry with the soap to set, then rinse them and let them dry flat

what I use is hair styling gel ..after I'm done painting I shape the bristles and leave the brushes till next time

I’m guilty of trimming my brushes when they wear out to much. It’s how I have most of my “detail brushes” just old brushes trimmed up for a perfect edge

Also when you paint with watercolour in general never leave any brush in the water. So when you finish you can't forget to take them out 😂
