That’s actually a really cool idea. I’ve heard of using 3d6 before, but that Advantage system is REALLY cool.

it seems like a cool idea, unfortunately there's no way for the players to roll a critical failure with that system. unless 3 is your critical failure

well, statistically, it's not at all close to a d20 because it massively favors the more average results.

for instance a shield-based offense is 2. which would make the difference between 7 and 8 technically a 50% chance to ignore that Shields AC benefit
