Can you explain further? I always thought Melanoma can grow through into organs but squamous can only grow skin deep, therefore being less dangerous

Yes, my dad died from squamous cell carcinoma in situ. Origin of site was his skin but wound up in his abdomen

My father dying from squamous cell. It started off as a crusty small spot on his head. He went through 5 surgical procedures that actually made it worse. He has golf ball plus sized tumors now on his scalp…about 8 of them. It has spread and he is now in hospice. 🥺

I had surgery to remove a spot of bcc, one year later basosquamous cell carcinoma in the same area. There isn’t much info on bsc so not sure what to expect.
