in Japan there is a practice of fixing things with gold filler to show the cracks and how things that break us don't have to make us useless

It can be glued back together. Then paint the glue with gold paint to mimic that one Japanese art of fixing stuff.

I've had more than a few sentimental dishes break over the years. It's not perfect, but being careful with super glue is a nice fix
