no, it will stick to the floor after a year.. they don't pull up that easy on areas with heavy traffic.

we fought peel and stick off of a gorgeous butcher block counter top. it was HELL, but found that a hair dryer and alcohol did the trick!

for anyone that doesn't want to risk the whole peel tape tile, there are also cheap alternatives like click on tiles (harder to chop off of tho)
