@doctor.ryan: They tested the blood before & it came out as HIV- • He also signed a waiver understanding the risk, but unfortunately received HIV from the donated blood, which is a ~1 in 1.5 million chance 😕 Could he most likely win a lawsuit? Guess & I’ll let you know in part 2!

My cousin received a blood transfusion as a baby in the early 70’s that contained Hep C. He’s still alive but he’s had a very difficult life.

idk about america, but in Australia, as long as a doctor warns a patient about the GENERAL NATURE of the risk, they are immune from suit
