When you say cats are imprint eaters, is it pretty much impossible to get them off kibble if they've been eating it their whole lives?

just make sure to check the fish oil ingredients. Sometimes there's extra additives in the ones made for dogs that cats have trouble digesting.

To an extraordinary man whose influence and love have shaped me in countless ways: my beloved Papa. The depth of my grief is indescribable, yet amidst this sorrow, I find solace in the cherished memories and the enduring legacy he leaves behind. My grandfather was not just a figure of authority in my life; he was my guiding star, constant companion, and greatest teacher. From the age of seven to thirteen, I had the immense privilege of living with my grandparents, a period that profoundly shaped my life. Due to my father's early work schedule, my papa stepped in to take me to school and pick me up every day, a daily reminder of his unwavering support and love. My early childhood was challenging, but my papa ensured those struggles were left behind. Recognizing my difficulty with reading, he hired a tutor, and soon, I not only became a strong reader but also discovered a passion for writing. I fondly remember my elementary school days when he would draw pictures for my book reports and projects, knowing how much it meant to me to have my illustrations match the excellence of my writing. I still have those drawings and reports, cherished mementos of his unwavering support and love. Weekends were our special time. We would visit our local bagel shop, where he would read the paper and drink his coffee while I enjoyed a bagel with more cream cheese than bagel. On our way home, we always stopped to get coffee for my nana and doughnuts from Dunkin’. This tradition extended into the summers, with treats for the rest of the family as they visited. This past June 12th, my grandparents celebrated an extraordinary milestone – 76 years of marriage. Their love story is one of enduring devotion and partnership, a testament to the power of love and commitment. They built a life together, overcoming challenges and celebrating triumphs, always side by side. The earliest stories of my grandfathers journey I can remember was when he would talk about when he was 17 and had enlisted into the military, serving his country with honor. After his service, he embraced the spirit of independence, working only for himself. He was a self-made man, embodying the principles of hard work, integrity, and perseverance. He truly lived the definition of the American dream, achieving success through his own efforts and determination. Throughout his life, my grandfather did everything a man is supposed to do correctly. He provided for his family, nurtured us with love and wisdom, and set an example of how to live a life of purpose and integrity. His teachings on love, compassion, kindness, and faith are the foundation upon which I build my life. He showed me the importance of being a free thinker, forging my own path, and having an unwavering faith in God. Papa was a man of few words, but when he spoke, it was always with purpose. His words resonated, and I always made sure to listen. His passing leaves an immeasurable void in our lives, yet his spirit remains with us, guiding us through the values he instilled. He taught me that true success is measured not by wealth or status, but by the love we give, the compassion we show, and the integrity with which we live our lives. Rest in peace, Papa. Your legacy is one of love, strength, and unwavering faith. We will honor you by living the values you taught us and by carrying forward the light you so brilliantly shone into our lives. Your journey on this earth may have ended, but your spirit will forever guide us. --- @Nathan Coe @Lightskin Samari @Ashley Nichole @It’s Tragic
