Yosemite Waterfalls are serene, sublime and sundry with over two dozens spread throughout the national park. The best time to see them is during spring when most of the winter snowmelt occurs. Yosemite National Park waterfalls are at their peak in May or June like the tallest waterfall in North America: Yosemite Falls with some waterfalls going dry by August while others flow year long like Vernal and Nevada along the Mist Trail. During my last trip to Yosemite this summer, I visited Bridalveil Fall (620 feet), Yosemite Falls (2,425 feet) and hiked to the top of Vernal (317 feet) and Nevada (594 feet) Falls via the Mist Trail and then down the John Muir Trail. Some other waterfalls at Yosemite National Park are Sentinel Falls (2,000 feet), Ribbon Fall (the tallest single drop waterfall in America at 1,612 feet), Horsetail Fall (1,000 feet), Illilouette Fall (370 feet), Wapama Falls (1,400 feet), Chilnualna Falls (2,200 feet), Silver Strand Falls (574 feet), and seasonal Staircase Falls (1,300 feet). If you visit Yosemite you will chase waterfalls against the advice of TLC’s song “Waterfalls”! #yosemite #yosemitenationalpark #yosemitevalley #yosemitenation #yosemitefalls #vernalfall #nevadafall #misttrail #johnmuirtrail #bridalveilfall #ribbonfall #tallestwaterfall #californianationalparks #californialove #californiaroadtrip #blackcampers #outdoorafro #blackhikers #californiawaterfalls #nationalparks #chasingwaterfalls #yosemitewaterfalls #waterfalls #hikingtrail #dayhike #blackmenoftiktok #blackpeoplehike #hikingtiktok #glacierpoint #halfdome
