Turn the key to the on position. A Little 2 stroke oil in each cylinder to build compression. 12v bat & jumper cables to starter. Don't cook starter.

I hope you guys put some 2 stroke oil in the gas in the bottle, it's much better for an engine that has been sitting for long,lubricates cyl walls etc

get you some Marvel Mystery oil, pour some down each spark plug, that'll help loosen the rings up.

On my 53 R110 , I had to take the starter apart and clean it up . It had so much road grim in the shaft races it restricted rotation

years ago we used to put an 8 volt battery in BUT I don't know if you can get an 8 volt battery any more .
