I mean, you should not sunbathe more than 1 hour or so. Any SPF above 30 is good for that and for a daily "city" usage.

the number (generally) also tells you how long it would take to burn in the sun compared to no sunscreen.if u burn in 10mins, with SPF15 it will b 150

No one says 30 is the same as 50, they say 30+ is same as 50. I’ve had a dermatologist explain this in detail, it’s true. 30+ same as 50
