At what temperature is it an emergency? Just wondering. I had an ER doc tell me that I don’t need to treat fevers even if they go above 104. I was shocked!

My son has PFAPA 105 -106 fevers are a normal thing for us. Every 4-6 weeks he is sick. Nothing we can do. He is a National Champion Wrestler & is apart of the NJHS. Fever don't cause brain damage.
