The second I connected with him I felt like I saw him. And I really think he allowed me to see. It’s like I could see all he’d done for mankind. I feel he’s carried many kids. Done many miles. He’s been a very good boy. Only to end up here. Everything’s loud. Tensions are high. Metal gates slamming. Horses screaming. His pain never ending. Then we have a moment of connection, a small but powerful interaction together. A moment of calm and maybe delusion that he wasn’t here. He was some place else. And so was I. It was like we left together, Just for a moment. I could feel him leaving his physical body and going to some place kind. And I went with him. I’m crying writing this because I haven’t had an experience quite like this with another horse. He needs out of here. He needs X-rays and pain relief. He needs US. Please help if you’re able. This beautiful boy cannot be left behind.
