I’m an env scientist and just need to clarify here. SUV growth is the reason for the 2nd largest INCREASE post-2010, not overall cumulative factor.

SUV's are also the asshole of car culture. because manufacturers focus on building lots of SUV's we don't get any cool cars. not even mentioning ++

The increase in SUVs has also significantly increased traffic accident fatalities iirc. they're really heavy so they crush most other cars.
