Do you have a disc bulge? Do this ‼️ If you’ve been dealing with a recurring disc bulge issue, let me share my top moves to help you alleviate the pain and prevent it from returning. Here’s what I typically do with my patients: We begin by lying on the stomach. If extending the spine in this position provides relief, we progress to more press-ups while exhaling slowly. If there’s no improvement, we explore different leg positions to find the most comfortable one. Once we identify the preferred position, we perform multiple sets and repetitions of press-ups, focusing on exhaling as we reach the top of the movement and allowing the spine to settle. As the pain diminishes, we transition to standing. For example, if the issue is on the right side, we step the right leg back, squeeze the glute, lean backward while fixing our gaze on a spot on the ceiling, and hold that position before returning to neutral. Repeat this process multiple times throughout the day, especially if experiencing pain. Continue to incorporate these movements into your warm-up routine before activities like walking, playing tennis, or lifting weights. Consistency with these exercises will not only alleviate the pain but also improve your overall condition, ensuring you stay in top form as you age. 🤷🏻♂️ Questions?
