Ghapama (Armenian Stuffed Pumpkin 🇦🇲) 📕Recipe here: ❂ Ingredients: 1 medium sized Pumpkin 1/2 cup Dried apricot, pitted 1/2 cup Dried prunes, pitted 1/2 cup Raisin 1/4 cup Almonds 1/3 cup Walnuts 1 1/2 cup Basmati Rice 1/4 сup Honey 1 Cinnamon Stick 3 Tbsp Butter ❂ Cooking process: ⁃ Preheat the oven to 350F ⁃ Cut the top off the pumpkin and set aside, remove seeds and fibers. ⁃ Brush the inside of the peeled pumpkin with honey. ⁃ Finely chop dried fruits and nuts. ⁃ Fry dried fruits and nuts in butter in a frying pan over medium heat around 5 minute. ⁃ Mix semi-cooked rice with fried dried fruits and nuts and stuff the pumpkin with this mixture. ⁃ Place a piece of butter on top, pour in honey and add a cinnamon stick. ⁃ Spray the pumpkin itself with oil spray. ⁃ Cover with the pumpkin lid and place in the oven at 350F for 1.5-2 hours. ⁃ When the pumpkin is done, it should be tender but not falling apart. ⁃ Serve: Cut into slices, drizzle with honey, and serve hot. ⁃ 🌟 Dive into the flavors of Armenia with Ghapama, a delectable pumpkin stuffed with a sweet and savory rice filling.
