I have a degree but I don’t think it makes a difference with my job.

If anything, having a degree has made me more aware of just how useless/meaningless degrees can be 😂😂

Yeah a degree is great but that doesn’t mean people without them aren’t capable of learning and performing extremely well.

College degrees help you write a lot better. Almost every job requires email communication.

Agreed. Degree opens more doors. But your getting an entitled and most likely indoctrinated person, who has extreme views every way.

Isn’t the biggest employer Walmart? Just because it’s 70% doesn’t mean that they jobs aren’t demanding and pay poorly

But just bc the people in those jobs don’t have a degree doesn’t mean when they replace that person it won’t require a degree

it's important to know there are options without degrees, but also important to know the stats (lifetime earnings are much higher with a degree)

They always push college in high school. You can make way more without a degree, or just by going to trade school.

I think it’s funny when upper management has zero college experience & requires entry level positions have degrees. Makes no sense

But 70% of the workforce not having degrees is because many older generations didn’t go to college… those stats will change with younger ppl entering

I want to be a teacher so I kinda have to go to school. Even if I could get a job without it, I feel like it’s a moral obligation for me to learn more

What concerns me about this is, as soon as women became the majority of college students and graduates, at great personal and economic cost...
